Joomla is a content management system [CMS]. Personally I like Joomla for develop my site. More others CMS is available to develop a web site. But if you want to develop a site with Joomla, I want to say stay with it. You can do everything in joomla whatever you can do with others CMS. In this post the main issue is enable clean URL in joomla.You can enable clean URL in joomla from SEO settings. Joomla is also good for SEO. Normally by default a joomla site creates complex URL, but when you will enable SEO friendly URL then it will create clean & search engine friendly URL.
How to Enable:
- Log in Your Admin Panel.
- Go to Site---Global Configuration.
- From the right you can see SEO settings.
- Click “Yes” under the Search Engine Friendly URLs option.
- Click “Yes” under the “Add Suffix to URL”
- You can leave others two settings “Unicode Aliases” “Use URL rewriting”, but if you want to enable this two then you have to rename “htacess.txt” to “.htacess” and “web.config.txt” to “webconfig.txt”.
Note: If you want to rename htacess.txt to .htacess then you can take suggestion from server admin. Because this option is only for Apache server.
